ExelGroup has been certified for the products by TÜV Rheinland and Kiwa, according to the international standards IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, and by Kiwa, according to the international standard IEC 61701 (salt and mist certification). Also, ExelGroup's modules come with the certification "Made in Europe" by Kiwa. The productive process is ensured by a particularly evolved System of Quality Control and Defect Prevention and has been certified according to the international quality standard of ISO 9001/2008 by TÜV Hellas. ExelGroup has also been certified according to the international standards of ISO 14001:2004 (Enviromental Management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Managemen) by TÜV Hellas.

The mounting structures are made out of hot-dip galvanized high-strength steel in the certified production process according to the ISO 9001/2000 standard. They have been tested according to the finite elements method by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, certified by TUV Hellas and fulfill the requirements of the Eurocode.

All products and metal structures, that the company undertakes, are followed strictly by Quality Control System. Moreover, ExelGroup applies Welding Procedures Specifications (WPS), in order to cover the entire range of welding plates, as well as for different places and thicknesses. The company uses also certified welders.

Research & Development

ExelGroup relies on innovation and it invests in the R&D Department, for planning of new products and improvement of already produced. The activities of the R&D Department focus on:

• the improvement and further modernisation of the equipment
• the planning and manufacture of production machines
• the qualitative optimisation of products
• the planning and production of new products
• the planning, manufacture of models and production of innovative products in cooperation with companies outside Greece and most Educational Institutes.

With the assistance of the R&D Department, ExelGroup has accomplished to dominate in the Greek market, while at the same time it has made important steps to the markets of abroad and to the exigent markets of Western Europe. The innovative technologies that we have already developed, the rapid response to the needs of our customers, as well as the capability of planning and producing new products, are essential competitive advantages and ensure high growth yields.
